Okay, I need to confess something right off the bat! Currently, I am what is called a "Dreamer" in the Workamper environment. That is to say I am dreaming of leaving the day to day average mode of living in the US of A where one gets up, leaves the house to go to work and then returns at the end of the day, five or maybe six times a week. I'm actually luckier than most because I own my own business and work from home which let's me set my own schedule for the most part. Many of my neighbors have a 2-hour commute each way to their jobs - so it's hard for me to complain!
But, still, I dream of getting in my travel trailer with my wife and dogs and heading out on the highways and byways of our great country to see its diverse, natural beauty while making new friends in a variety of work environments!
There - I said it! Although I do not currently make my living as a Workamper, I hear the call of the wild, so to speak (after all, I still want the creature comforts that an RV can give you), and hope to become a Workamper some day - sooner than later! If you are new to RVing, than you may be wondering what the term "workamper" means?! Workamper is a trademark of Workamper News and the term refers to anyone who makes a living while living in a recreational vehicle (RV). Many people think it refers to people who work in campgrounds. Well, they're wrong!!! I've met a variety of people who have given up on paying a big home mortgage and have gone to living in their RV in order to save money and/or get some traveling in as well.
As a RVing Lifestyle Ambassador, I am here to help you turn your dream into reality! To help you get over the fear stage, which comes from making a major change in your life, through research and planning. So, ask me questions about the services offered through Workamper News. If I don't know the answer, there are others who do! You'll find that RVers are a friendly group of people.
So, let's journey together and let the road trips begin!!!
